GloriaFood is shutting down — what is actually happening?

GloriaFood shuts down on April 30, 2027

Oracle, the owner of GloriaFood since 2021, announced in early 2026 that the platform will be retired on April 30, 2027. The in-app banner and partner emails are explicit: the service and the partner program end on that date.

Oracle names no official successor and offers no migration tool. After the shutdown date, menus, accounts and order data will no longer be accessible.

Over 100,000 restaurants worldwide need a new home for online ordering. The earlier you move, the calmer the move: QR codes, website links and Google listings all take time to update.

Facts verified: August 18, 2026

How the migration works

1

Paste your link

Your restaurant website or GloriaFood ordering page — the importer finds your restaurant by itself.

2

Review the result

Menu with photos, hours, contacts, delivery zones and a design matched to your current site appear in your new account within minutes.

3

Publish and switch

Replace ordering links on your site and social profiles, print fresh QR codes — done.

What gets copied automatically

The importer reads the public GloriaFood data of your restaurant and transfers:

  • Full menu with categories
  • Dish photos
  • Sizes and toppings
  • Opening hours
  • Address, phone and map coordinates
  • Delivery zones and fees
  • Banner and background images
  • Logo and favicon
  • Color palette and fonts from your website

176

dishes

18

categories

168

photos

7

delivery zones

In our test migration of a real restaurant, 176 dishes in 18 categories, 168 photos and 7 delivery zones moved over in a single run — with the GloriaFood account untouched.

What cannot be moved (and what to do about it)

  • Order history and customer list — the GloriaFood API does not expose them. Export them from your GloriaFood admin panel before the shutdown.
  • Promotions and coupons — recreate them in a few minutes in your new dashboard.
  • Paid GloriaFood add-ons (website, domain) — point your domain at your new site instead.

Questions restaurant owners ask about the GloriaFood shutdown

Is GloriaFood really shutting down?

Yes. Oracle announced in early 2026 that GloriaFood will be retired on April 30, 2027 — via an in-app banner and emails to partners. The partner program ends the same day, and Oracle recommends no official successor.

When exactly does GloriaFood close?

April 30, 2027. After that date accounts, menus and order data will no longer be accessible. We recommend moving at least one or two months earlier so you have time to update QR codes and links calmly.

What does the migration copy automatically?

The full menu with categories, dish photos, sizes and toppings, opening hours, contacts and coordinates, delivery zones — plus your visual design: banner, logo, favicon, colors and fonts.

Is it really free?

Yes. The migration itself is free, and the core plan — QR menu and commission-free online orders — is free permanently. Paid plans only add extras; you are never forced to upgrade to keep working.

Will the import break my current GloriaFood account?

No. The importer only reads publicly available data and changes nothing in GloriaFood. Your current ordering keeps working in parallel until you decide to switch.

How long does the migration take?

The automatic part takes minutes — menu, photos and design are imported while you watch the progress. Reviewing the result and publishing usually fits into half an hour.

What is not transferred?

Order history, your customer list and coupons — GloriaFood does not expose them via its API. Export the customer list from the GloriaFood admin before the shutdown; coupons can be recreated in minutes.

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. Sign up, run the migration and look at the result — no card, no obligations. If it is not a fit, you have lost nothing.

Move your restaurant before the rush

Migration takes minutes today. Closer to April 2027, thousands of restaurants will be moving at the same time.
