A screen in your guests’ language
Choose a display language and prepare offer translations. Before display, the system checks known country and product-category restrictions. You decide what to advertise.

How to launch a screen
- 1
Build the program
The “What should this screen do?” wizard asks for the job — sell items, show the menu and prices, announce a promo — and builds the first cards from your catalog.
- 2
Open tv.cenaly.com on the TV
The screen shows a six-character code and a QR code. Enter the code in the dashboard or point your phone camera at the QR — then press OK on the remote.
- 3
Press “Publish”
The TV usually receives the program within 1–6 minutes and keeps checking for updates by itself. The dashboard shows that the version was applied.
What you need
A TV or monitor with HDMI
Use HDMI to connect the box. Landscape and portrait formats are supported: 16:9, 9:16, 4:3, 3:4, 1:1 and 21:9.
An Android TV or Google TV box
Recommended: a box running Chrome 105 or newer. Built-in Smart TV browser support depends on the model; test it before buying.
Internet at the venue
Needed for setup and updates. Saved content may keep playing for up to a week during an outage; prices and ads require confirmed freshness.

How the screen speaks the right language and follows the rules
Screen language
Each screen has its own display language. Item names come from catalog translations, while promo texts, QR captions and the ticker are translated in the “Translations” block — manually or with an AI suggestion.
Category from the catalog
An item’s category is set by its catalog badge (alcohol, tobacco, medicines…). For free promo text you answer “What does it advertise?” — no answer, no card on screen.
Room or window
“Where does the screen face”: the room or the street. Window rules are usually stricter — until you choose, the window rules apply.
More screen features
Warnings and state language
If a rule requires a warning, the screen adds it by itself. Where the law requires the state language, the screen checks its share and size, and the editor tells you which translation to add.
Rule with a reference
A card the rules do not allow is marked ⛔ — with the rule name, a link to the act and a hint what to do. The rest of the program publishes as usual.

Cafés and restaurants
A bar in a tourist area
The room screen in English; a beer promo is marked “alcohol”, and the screen checks whether it may be shown and whether a warning is needed.
Start for a café →Shops
A shop with tobacco at the till
The screen checks cigarettes and vapes against national rules before showing them — separately for a room screen and a window screen.
Start for a shop →Salons and services
A salon selling supplements
An item’s category comes from its catalog badge — the screen checks it against the advertising rules of the location’s country.

Honest limits
- This is not legal advice: the service shows which rule fired; the decision is yours.
- The rules base covers 19 countries; a location without a country is not checked.
- A screen has one display language; for a second language, add a second screen.
- The screen does not show unit prices yet — where they are mandatory, a card with a price is not shown.
FAQ
How does the screen know the country?
From the location settings: you can set the country and time zone right in the ad monitor hub. The time zone drives schedules, the country drives advertising rules.
Do I translate everything by hand?
Item names come from catalog translations. Promo texts and the ticker are translated in the “Translations” block — manually or with an AI suggestion.
What happens to a card that may not be shown?
It stays in the program but does not play — marked ⛔ with an explanation. Fix it and it plays; the rest of the program publishes as usual.
Do I need to buy a special player?
You usually do not need a new TV: connect an Android TV or Google TV box running Chrome 105 or newer over HDMI. Test a built-in Smart TV browser before buying: older models may not work. A verified list of TV models is not yet available.
What happens if the internet goes down?
An already running player can continue with saved content for up to 7 days after confirmed connectivity. Prices and ads are shown only while freshness is confirmed; then a neutral screensaver takes over. Offline TV restarts are not yet promised.
Who creates the pictures?
Use photos from your catalog, upload a finished design or build an offer in a ready-made style. AI suggestions are optional and use credits.
Can I manage several locations?
Yes: one dashboard shows screens across your locations. Each location has its own program; copying programs between locations is not yet available.
How much is it and how many screens can I connect?
The ad monitor is included in every plan, including Free. There is no per-screen fee. Bring your own TV and box; AI suggestions use AI credits.
